Director Moscardelli will be Hosting an Important Press Conference

Greetings Citizens of Rubi-Ka,

Today I have an important announcement. On March 14, 29478 I will be holding a press conference with the public. Leaders and employees of the respectable organizations Rubi-Ka Universal Robots, Vector Blue, Omni-InternOps Division 3, Division 9 RSGE and Obsoleet will be joining me in hosting this conference. Over the past six months, we as a group have seen many successes and we feel it is time to revel the relationship between our various departments and private organizations. This relationship is very important to us and to the continued glory of Omni-Tek.

The conference will be held in front of Omni-Mining’s Headquarters in Clon****. We will have personnel standing about in Clon**** to direct traffic. The set time for this meeting will be at 20 GMT, 3 PM EST.

The leaders of the various organizations and I will first say a speech about the bond between our organizations. We will speak about the meaning of this bond and go into some detail of what it is. After we have spoken we will take questions from the public.

After the press conference we will move to the Rhompa Bar for a reception.

I look forward to seeing many respectable members of the Rubi-Ka community at the conference.

1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 oz semisweet chocolate
1 stick butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract
FILLING & TOPPING:
2 cups whipping cream
2/3 cup confectioners sugar
1/3 cup kirsch
16 oz can pitted red tart cherries drained (reserve liquid)
12 maraschino cherries w/stems

CAKE: Need two 9-inch round cake pans. In a bowl, combine flour, baking
powder and salt. In double boiler or microwave, melt chocolate over low
heat. Cool. In another mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and
fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Add melted
chocolate and gradually add the flour mixture. Add almond extract. Pour
batter into greased and floured pans. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven
for 30-35 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean. Cool in pan 5
minutes, then on a wire rack. Cut each layer horizontally, to make four
layers.

No, the Clans do not deserve to attend this press conference any more than their ignorable Council of Truth have ignored the Neutrals and Omni-Tek alike despite their desire to become a political force on the planet. At the least the Clan's exclusion should be an example and pointed reminder for them to remember that in the future.

Why would we want to go to such a press conference, anyway? As sure as I am that the dastardly RUR are hip deep in conspiracies to wipe the clans from the face of Rubi-Ka, I'm afraid I just can't think of a reason to go to so much trouble to listen to some huggy-bear feel good speeches about the successes of a handful of organizations most of us have had next to no interaction with outside of possibly chatting over a drink or two at Reets. Next thing we know you'll be accusing us of trying to infiltrate the Omni-Vid annual movie award ceremony or something similarly trivial.

I assure you, we have much more interesting and productive things to do with our time these days.

Omni-Pol guards? I feel an urge to laugh. The weak-willed won't be an obstacle for those able to cloud the mind. But then again, why should I attend? Maybe to watch NFL show their 'respect' to Omni-Tek's Notum operations?

And to Mr Houston - In the light of the recent aggression of Omni-Tek against various clan-owned Notum mines your argument is a joke. A very bad one. Check the intelligence first next time you try to throw dirt at us. You're an intelligent man and one of the few I respect within Omni-Tek. Don't corrupt your own integrity.
