Ashara ducked under camo netting and made his way to the command post, ducking under more netting and made his way into the command area. Nodding to the comms officer before sitting down at his makeshift desk. He placed his head in his hands and took time out to think things through before making a start on his daily routine. The comms officer placed the latest sitreps and comm logs on his desk and headed back to his own desk.
Three weeks he thought to himself, three whole weeks stuck out in the middle of nowhere. But then again thats what LRPG was all about Recon, plain and simple. This is what we do he said to himself.
"Comms, who's out on patrol at the moment?"
The Comms officer stopped what he was doing, picking up the duty log and checked.
"Sir, we have two patrols out at the moment, 1st and 3rd units."
"Ok, when they due back?"
"3rd is due back in four hours and the 1st isn't due back till late tonight, extended patrol. Both are due for sitrep in 30mins Sir."
"Alright then, also i need you to send a message to Jade seeing how she's doing after the othernight, send it encrypted, she knows the decrypt key."
"Right away Sir." The Comms officer sent it off and got back to his own duties, which consisted of listening in on comm chatter.
Ashara sifted through all of the reports before stopping at something very interesting. He picked up another report and looked at the two reports in his hands. He thought to himself, theres that name again, Crackshot. He read through the first one again and double checked it. He looked at the second report, then dropped both reports on his desk. Now this wasn't coincidence, twice you popped up he said to himself. His mind played through it all, Assaulting Omni-Pol officers, Accessing restricted data. He decided what to do next, time to to bring him into the game.
"Comms, send this priority message to problem solver. He is to locate the person by the name of Crackshot. Once found he is to become her shadow. Tell him to do whatever it takes to get the job done. 1st Assault Unit is at his disposal. I want her found ASAP and make that sure that is crystal clear. Send another priority message to the 1st Assault Unit and tell them to make their way back here ASAP"
"Right away Sir."
The Comms officer sent both messages off.
So it begins he thought to himself. He knew it was time to get him involved, mainly because his specialist got the job done, always got results.
