Non-SL NT
How about once I can selfcast RB, I stop MC and put into other things. Go for better evades, runspeed, etc etc.....? Or are our evades that bad?

Look at older threads how NT's was played before Shadowlands was released, I do think you will find alot of them on this forum.

sheesh.
after title5, you don't have to "stop" raising skills to "start" raising other skills....it's not like that
ip is ample.
i have alot ..ALOT of weapon skills maxed, alone with evades, run, al nano skills etc.
funny how you dont really know anything about the game yet you flame us for stupid ****... "nt's are mean, wah"
yep.
/sead "meh"
that's right, I don't know a lot about the game, so I come here and the only knowledge I can gain is that NT is the worst profession, and everything is wrong with them, and there is nothing right.

Well this is the consensus of the NT community
If you have known the history of the NT profession you would understand what we are so tired about. NT's has allways been a hard profession to play, low HP, huge taunts, squishy, NT gear on RK is pretty hard to come by and the list goes on......
Try to dig into the history of this forum check the sticky threads, the well of knowledge of the NT's are in this forums and you will find both the downsides and the upsides.

If you go read my guide, the ENTIRE first section is pure RK stuff, it should help
I would never stop increasing MC as its your nukes Attack Roll v their Nano Resistance.
You will have enough IPs to max evades as well, unless you have really boosted lots of other skills, say psycology, QFT, chemistry.
Little point: If people didnt enjoy playing their NTs, and didn't want to see the problem we have get fixed, think they would be here posting, think they would still be playing them?

I enjoy my NT as welll .... when dancing in reets retreet and doing funky area nukes.
I love playing my NT (even still at 201) and i've played every profession there is. Maybe it's because i'm a little crazy and I love being able to pull aggro any time I want. NT's are a tough profession to play but if you like a challenge it's a blast.

Zoo, people have responded in the other thread that we have posted suggestions on how to fix X and Y.
In my opinion, as stated in others threads, we are a great profession on RK, not perfect but fun! The reason for that is 90% of our toolset works well on RK (calms/roots/warps/blinds/ae nukes/dd nukes with stuns, evade debuffs etc.).
The problem really only starts to kick in TL6+ and in SL when most of what we have to look forward to is more nano regen and more 'deck nukes and each 'deck nuke is almost identical to the one before it. The 'deck nukes don't scale very well on damage due to the high cast times and our damage starts to fall short due to the same cast times and the ultra-high ACs of MOBs.
The best balanced nuke atm is Izzy's Ultimatum @220. If the rest were speed-cappable at the appropriate level then our damage would be greatly improved. Or if SL evades were a lot higher, or if +dmg add items worked for nukes, or if.. etc etc. Plenty of people have posted suggestions for how to improve our lot.
That aside, it is a fact of life that people that are happy very rarely post about it, whereas those that are unhappy will be up in arms. The flip-side though, is that if we don't post constructive threads about things we are unhappy with, nothing will change. Those same people that you see as whining may very well be the people that help make the NT a more enjoyable profession.
this is one thing that have changed with SL : our Dark blue evades have hard time following the AR race in the SL lvls.Or are our evades that bad?
weapons user reach 150% to 200% our evades. Pre SL it was wabout 20% to 30% for the bests.
wich means we get more often hit from other than pre SL.

Yep, compared to what they were pre-SL Fixers have it worse, but they did get new snares, garden evacs, shadowweb, run-buffs.Originally posted by Takalon

The problem is that the SWS is a very poor substitute for GA, the evac is self-only, the NCU perks are pretty useless, and their damage went from being near the top to at the bottom. The new syndicate gun helps with that but is waay too rare.
Make the Syndicate gun a more common drop, boost SWS, make a team version of the Garden evacs and then move on to the NTs.
