The real Clan perspective on Radiman's assassination

I'm posting this because our supposed press service seems to only spout Omni propaganda these days. The Voice of Freedom is starting to sound more and more like the Voice of an Omni Sycophant every article I read.

Initial information which reached the Clans indicated that Radiman had been assassinated in the heart of Omni HQ. This implied Omni action against our spokesman and resulted in swift and decisive action by the militant clans. Later information provided by various Omni-Tek employees claimed that Radiman was in fact quite safe and the assassination of a double was a ploy set up by Omni-Pol to flush out the suspected assassins. This much was confirmed by Director Gelsa, a representative of the Council of Truth, who claimed to have spoken to Radiman directly and assured the Clans of his safety. However, evidence that the Omni authorities were well aware of the assassin's identity, yet had not taken this criminal into custody caused the majorty of clan members to question the authenticty of all the information given to us. Many members loudly renounced any plea for peace, pointing out that whether the assassination was successful or not, the intent of harm was there. The Clans have never been trusting of Omni-Tek's response in matters considering our rights, and so many members took it upon themselves to dispense their own form of justice on those responsible for the assassination attempt.

Initial reports indicated that the assassin was one Joesph "Aberic" Capo, a member of the Omni fringe group The Dark Carnival. This was later confirmed by Aberic himself and his actions condoned by his faction leader, Porsche "Truwind" Timas. Yet despite this, Omni-Pol still took no action against these supposedly treacherous employees.

I am happy to confirm that many Dark Carnival members, including Aberic himself, made good use of their insurance in the resulting Clan attack waves on 2ho and 4 holes, but ultimately, it was all for naught as the Clans were unable to capture the criminal. As Omni refuses to act, he remains free to walk the streets of Omni-1.

At this point, speculations still abound. Many believe that Radiman was indeed assassinated, and Omni is simply covering up the massive blunder. Others believe that this is a clever political ploy by Omni to take Radiman prisoner while appearing to be his benefactor. Few, if any, believe that Omni truly meant well in all of this or that they intend to dispense the justice much deserved on the would be assassins.
