I'm suprised to see everyone laughing at such a huge tragedy, how many deaths was it? 1522? Why not do the next one of the Oklahoma City Bombing... or 9/11? Heck it doesn't even have to be a terrorist attack... why not Hindenburg? Or all the people that died in a large Earthquake. This humor may be funny to some but it's very insulting to others... please think next time before you want to talk about people en mass dying due to being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Lilfelix I agree that the sinking of the Titanic was a tragedy
but the way its decribed is from the point of view of the
ships themselves. Im sure everybody here is respectful of
those lost in that incident, im sure no disrespect was ment.
We all play AO and applying the ships to an AO context was
humorous.
edit: my spelling isnt what it should be
Bump to that, Lilmut.

Zanthanya, that almost makes up for making me think that FC would be adding resizeable inventory and renameable bags in Towns of Rubi-Ka.
Anyone offended by this chat log would probably also be offended even more by The Onion.

that one made me laugh
Wow! I am absolutely dumbfounded by all the complements. When I originally wrote this, it was only intended to be a few lines in the morse code thread that I would encode (the morse code triggered the idea). But the idea grew and I realised it deserved its own thread. Still, I figured it would get a few responses but mosly from other Titanic buffs, not from the general AO population. Needless to say, I'm very thrilled at the response to this thread. Also, I'm glad someone noticed the historical accuracy of the thread, as I tried to keep it as accurate as possible.
Nachschock, in answer to your question of "ever think you can get your stuff published?," when I was in college I wrote for and edited the satire section of my college newspaper between `96 - `98 (California State University Long Beach's The Long Beach Union and it's satire section is called "The Grunion"). Other then that, I would like to get back to my writing and get something published (if only I can tear myself away from these addictive forums long enough ).
Oh, and thanks again to AO Vault for linking me.
