its the same reason why you cant use Corporate Leadership to deroot pets, Carlo is hostile.

Actually they fixed the speeches, cause they no longer buff our opponents in PvP so its a good thing, in 17.1 patch Carlo will no longer be hostile to us, and speech will buf him correctly again, and corporate leadership can be used to deroot pets again

2) Motivational speeches affect our enemies in PvP as well if they have the same factionside.
simply ask to check enemy ncu when pvp'ing
-> solved with the release of LE.

but yer, lets see in 17.1, crat fixes comes without batteries
