Each person who bids on this auction will be invited on a team, escorted through the dungeon, who's 60 or so special mobs drop rings of power, unique guns, swords, gloves, and plenty of normal, quality armor. At the end of the dungeon, we will kill Neleb for you and you can loot the robe, the staff, and his special nano resistance ring also.

The fact that they allow lvl180's in the Steps of Madness has led to this disgusting behavior. What chance does a group of 6 lvl50's have of enjoying this dungeon and reaping the rewards at the end when a group of 'tourists' escorted by a 'tour guide' get too 'oooh' and 'aaaah' at the sites of the dungeon and get their 'souveniers' at the end.

It wouldn't be so bad if you could keep them in their own instance of the dungeon.

Solutions:

- Nobody can ever loot a corpse if they don't get at leat 1 point of experience from the kill.
- Nobody can join a team they can't get experience from. If a higher level player joins and you won't get experience you are bumped from the group.
- Dungeon key dispensers please
- STOP PUTTING STATIC LOOT TABLES ON BOSS MONSTERS AT THE END OF DUNGEONS ON FIXED TIMERS!!!!

While I abhor these kinds of practices, this one makes me laugh. Sharp Learning Curve Ahead! Anybody dumb enough to think that this will work without a hitch doesn't know AO or the gaming community very well. IF everyone is on time, no one has to leave, nothing crashes, no one does anything stupid to get themselves killed and there aren't even higher levels there already camping the Boss, then these guys might clear $10/hour. MIGHT!

And if Funcom doesn't pay $30 and have someone show up so they can ban every one of the participants (buyers and sellers), then they obviously couldn't care less about selling 'services' on Ebay.

I've been to SoM so many times it's not funny. What's even more of a laugh is the idea that any level 50 team could stand a chance with those packs of MOBs without someone of a much higher level to at least take some of the brunt. As for killing Neleb? That's relatively easy - when you know how.

it would be extremly amusing if someone from funcom made a bid on that and banned the whole group.

on the other hand, the second day the steps were up and running, i remember a level 150'ish soldier who was camping neleb and charged 100k for someone to join his team and loot when the soldier took him down. my level 60'ish team at the time just gave up and went back out again at that point.
just to let you know that this isn't exactly a new thing.

I dont know why AO cant produce a dungeon for every group that goes in the dungeon (make a copy of the key give it to other members of your team get your own dungeon.) If anyone on these boards has been playing online games as long as I have and im sure there are some remember the realm online? Its still up and running been running since the early 90's probly before that on that game if you click on the dungeon it will teleport you and your group inside giving you your own dungeon.

(The hardware on there server must be ancient like a quad proccessor board running 166 pentiums) anyways FUNCOM what is soooo hard that you cant do this? If a game as old as the realm can why cant you? yea yea it will be copying another games dungeon style but didnt you do that already by copying everquests camping style for loot on your dungeons? I quit AO 8 months ago and remember reading the boards seeing people beg you if you do make static dungeons not to make them Everquest style...you did anyways....You made this game have less downtime than any of the other online games out there.

However the biggest time sink I can remember is camping items the only game Ive ever played that doesnt make you camp Items is The realm. and its been up a ton longer than everquest so why not go take a look at it www.realmserver.com get yourself a 10 dollar copy and have one of your people play it the graphics suck but there dungeon system is a ton better than EQ's.
