Can we no longer get to Rome from Omni-Ent? I have been away for several months, but it seemed to me that one of the southern whompas near the gates to Omni-Forest in Ent. used to go to Rome, and that's what the map on AO Basher shows too. Yet, when I went to use it last night the sign said "not in use". WTF? Any info appreciated. Also...good hunting/leveling spots for Omni newbies < lvl 10? Thanks in advance.

There are three whompas there. One to Trade. One to Rome Red. And one not operational. I believe the Rome one is to the west, Trade to the North, and the other is to the South. So, if you Whomp from Trade turn to your left to go to Rome.

thanks...i thought i was at the southernmost group of whompas, but I may have only been at the southernmost of the northern whompas. it was late and i was really tired. damn work forcing me to play late into the night then get up too early! see ya.
