The ability to delete own posts and threads

We have had a few complaints about threads disappearing because the original poster has the ability to take away the whole thread. Now we're thinking of possibly denying people this ability.

The ability was intended to let people who did mistakes get it off the forums before they got flamed to death.

However, the ability also robs us - and you - of valuable information posted as replies, including replies from Funcom.

So, should people be able to delete threads they started?

Poll runs for 7 days, though if we see a clear tendency, we might do changes before the time is up.
