Put on zset and go afk.
At any given lvl range in particular?
220 zset will be easiest method, but staff is also doable because you still can use top pet buffs.
I think primarily you will want evade setup and make sure your debuffs are best you can use.
NSD hackers/ankari, use damage debuffs on general. Good to go.
At 220, SoZ and an evade setup is easy-mode, while using an actual weapon is faster but somewhat riskier.
What level are you, and what is your current setup?
My SL only MP could take city raids almost afk, I can only assume it's even easier for a fully paid one.
220 level range. I want to try and farm some high QL bots.
Honestly, it's pretty easy to solo AI raids. Just give it a shot, and if you run into snags we'll be glad to help you figure out what's going wrong :).
Just to sum up the thread, and this follows exactly the route I took, equip SoZ, NSD Hackers and Ilari/Ankari, damage debuffs on General.
That is followable from the moment you can equip SoZ. Once you get better geared you can do what I did and use actual weapons instead of shield, just follow the NSD/debuff rules. Most normal aliens from each wave will just miss you, and the few hits that do go through are easily healed by Mortificant. A few generals will give you trouble due to high AR and high damage, but I can get those ones down to around 700 damage per hit, and the rest of the generals down to around 50 damage per hit, without SoZ or RRFE.
EDIT: (20:07) General - Xoch'Khaz hit you for 8 points of fire damage.
He was 227. Setup is in my signature.
Just go try it. NSD nukers and the rest is q /pet attack /afk. Setup doesn't matter.
So this seems pretty sound and straightforward. So here's another. Alappa solo. Someone was saying they do it with a crat but was unsure about how to do it with an MP. Suggestions?
EDIT 2: Owps. My brain read Albtraum xD Sorry my bad. Brain is not in right state right now :3 Tips below are for Albtraum, I decided to keep there it if you dont mind :D
Dont pull more than 1 mob (that should be obvious). Spam all your DD debuffs and make sure you have your evade procs on. If you are shield its prolly easy mode afk as well xD As bow I would sugest to swap to AAD hud if you can. Keep then full damage debuff all the time!
I have no idea if you can solo mini-bosses, since I never tried. But I would guess you can't, because crats need to charm 1 Eremite and 1 Voracious for it.
EDIT: Extra tip about alien raids: 'Cha gen can be a pain in ass for bow MP, since it has a hard hit of 4~5k, so you need to keep this modafoking DD debuffed all the time as well.
EDIT 3:
OMG the Alappaa xD
Well, I neve tried to solo it myself. But I can say that the hardest parts are Cascating Moloth and keep the Sister alive. Cascating Moloth's adds are a pain in ass terrorists, but die with one MIMQ. Tab - MIMQ the fastest way possible is the way to go. I'm afraid you will have to deal with spirit corridor one by one, and it will be slooooooooooooooow. To Sister: Healpet on Sister, Mezz pet on something and assist Sister all the time. You may put Attack pet on other mob to divert taunt but I think it may be counterproductive since it will make you kill a lot slower.
Pay special attention on your pets positioning: If Ices pop on then, they are doomed and you will need to terminate and recast then.
P.s.: Genele told us Alappaa mobs ate a noob stim. So it may be now a walk in the park and all worries unneeded
Lain, I think he was referring to Alappa, not Albtraum...fwiw :p
Good advice otherwise tho ! :)
I've never actually tried soloing Alappa...Cleared to tunnel along one wall
(21:23) Cascading Molokh hit you for 17 points of cold damage.
No problem there, but remembered that you have to escort the lady back, so I deecided to go back and clear.
Thought the underground area was supposed to be filled with Ice blocks, there were only spirits for me.
(21:35) Novictum Blight hit you for 506 points of poison damage.
He was a little tougher, hits around the 400-600 range, and 99% reduced healing AoE debuff, but heal delta took care of the hits I actually took.
Reprogrammed Mezorash was super easy, rarely even hit me. The hardest part of the entire instance was keeping pets/lady alive during the escort. I had healpet on her entire time, I never even hit 75% HP.
So I've done a few city raids. The one boss that kills me is Cha.
First time was the first solo attempt. I didn't have debuffs at that point. /fail So I went back and got them and fought two more gens and killed them both times (even when one enslaved my pets right before he died trying to save himself. It didn't work.)
So he pops out again. I think "great, payback time". But even fully debuffed he was hitting me consistently for 1-3k. I got overwhelmed and dropped. What am I doing wrong?
Can't really tell you too much, as you have yet to post your current setup.
What OBs were you running? Did you grab RRFE? GoA from engi helps, too.
:edit: and lets not forget perks: other than lainbr's questions below, did you perk Supernova 10 and are you using Dazzle with Lights actively? That's pretty much -300aao & 800inits for about 1/3rd of the time...
grab doctor healdelta buff and sit down.
You are full def? Running both evade LE procs? Spamming healpet heal when Cha goes rampant? Are you actively using Soothing Spirits healperk? Stims? Hmmmmm Do you have more than 3.3k AAD+Evade w/o procs? Do you let your attack pet tank when you low HP?
If you answer NO to any of questions above: there is the problem xD Also, since you epic phailed twice on him, I assume you are not Shield MP. So, I have to tell: HE IS A MEANIE. And not that easy to selfsolo.
I can guarantee Cha can be self soloed by a Bow MP (I do it all the time, and w/o stims), but dont be afraid at getting some OBS (reflects mostly)
