Just never made sense to me when the other "casting" professions have mods that make sense. As in: docs have int mod, NT has int mod, along with a stamina mod, which is ehhh i guess. Trader has int and stamina mod. But mp's get strength, not something that really "fits" with their profession.
MP's don't need more int buffing, its the str/sta or agi/sen that usually is what we need to buff for alpha symbs. Even trox with Odins', VTE, 2x rings and maybe 2 pistols should have plenty int/psy for symbs, it's the other breeds that lack str/sta or agi/sen.
Well if it must be, I guess at least have their shoulders do int.
Maybe I'm missing something here what exactly do you think MP's need more Int buffing for?
Twinking. Opening things up to other levels. Serious lack of shoulder armor pre-220 other than overpriced igocs.
How about the +8 Bow on the Chosen Adventurer body armor? Just sayin'..

Wow, these are quite interesting...
I am almost considering them in place of Gauntlet pads... but for a leveling char, and maybe 200 twinks... these look just majestic.
Fixer one could have 350HP also instead of 200.
Doc one could use HP boost aswell. (Tier 3 pad has 400HP)
So every prof gets 15-20 weaponskill and advies get 20 sneak attack?
For MP's im calling shenanigans on this one. IF you can put the helmet on with the Int/Psy reqs, There is not anything you would want to wear that has higher Int reqs except lvl locked symbs. Therefore the helmet does not need Int, which is why it has Str for twinking.
