currently i have a bank full of backpacks full of stuff. to find anything in them I have to take it from the bank, see whats in it, repeat.

See the advanced store that sells backpacks... there are already "Large Backpacks" with special icons on them for that purpose.
But hey, colored ones would be kinda cool, too.
I think this is a good idea as well. At lower levels, most people can't afford to buy those backpacks with icons. At least I couldn't. And besides, it would amuse me to see an Atrox adventurer running around with a pink bag on its back.
Color backpacks would be nice, but I'd love to name them.
