And the best/worst class is...
Being the science type geek that I am, I decided to figure out what the best/worst classes in general are. There are a few things I had to take into consideration: *Source of information. The only cumulative data is here on this forum. The people who visit the forum are not a perfect sample of the AO population, but I have to work with what I've got. *Human variance. There is not a single statement one can say that everyone will agree with. You can say, "There is gravity" and there will be someone who calls you stupid. That said, you have to make some assumptions.
Assuming Player polls are accurate AND the top10 most wanted list is valid, I have the following data to report for your consideration:
I have taken data from the Top10 most wanted rankings and 3 of the Player Polls, Weighted each of the 4 categories at an equal 25% each, and come to the following results as to the 'best' class.
[Final Score] = [(Sum of top10 most wanted) * 2.5] - [worst at PvP%] - [Worst in general%] - [Worst at Team%] + 87
There are 40 top10 people, so *2.5 = 100%
The lowest score was -87, so +87 flatens it out.
