Atrox MPs... nano enforcers...

One day, I made up my mind to create an atrox MP as a small joke. But it turned out very well, I got it up to at least level 20 and it slaughtered! Then, I made a Nano enforcer and I struggled making it to level 15. What I'm trying to say here, is that you take a huge meaty atrox, and stick it with a profession totally opposite of its abilities, like an MP, and it's, for some reason, very good. But take a Nanomage, sitck him/her into the same scenario, and they are horrible. This is not right here. I just thought I'd metion this, just to let some people aware. Maybe the atrox should be made less intelligent, or the nanos made stronger.


The NLF is a big joke. I have a nano, and I don't think the notum is dwindling. They're just a bunch of raving lunatics. Just thought I should say that :p

Solitus is best for any profession. ;) Well, most any.

Solitus loses approximentally 100 health compared to an Atrox, and agains 1.1k more nano and breed-caps INT much higher. A nanomage loses around 1.1k hps for a gain of around 100-300 nano.

Well, most peeps do the maximum effect route.
but wih some thinking (did i mean twinking? :eek: ) and research, you can easily go cool instead.

I made a nano MA, and it rocks, as long as you play it smart.
implants is the key, make up for your bad skills with imps.
like the nanomage Ma i am, i have all nanos waay before the average solitus/opifex MA.
F.ex MA mastery, dirthy fighter, aso.
just plan a li'll before and you'll do fine.

Like Enforcer nanomage, just make ur imps go so you can do essences before you really should, and you are equal with HP, AND with more nano.

P.S it helps with good friends in the game, for buffs, equipment aso. :cool:

Atrox have a huge advantage at lower levels (high HP).
It disappears at higher levels.

Nanomage have a huge disadvantage at lower levels (low HP).
It's less of a disadvantage at higher levels.

Why is that a joke?
I think Atrox metas are the most common combination after Solitus.

If you take a closer look at metas, an atrox is actually the most logical choice. Metas have nanos that boost their nano skills.. since the disadvantage of atrox is supposed to be their weaker nano skills, the buffs compensate.
The only real disadvantage to an atrox is the smaller nanopool. Metas have no really 'high cost' nanos AND they also have nanos that reduce.

Metas can self cast virtually all of their nanos by level 125.

Atrox really only make bad Engineers, Crats and Doctors.

That's a load of crap.

An Opifex and Solitus maxing the same skills every level will be able to cast nanos 2-3 levels after a nanomage.

Is casting a nano a few levels earlier worth the hundreds less HP you get as a nanomage?

Nanomage are pointless for any professions other than NT, Crat, Engineer and maybe doctor.

How does having the ability to cast nanos a few levels sooner make up for HUNDREDS less hitpoints?

How does spending more IPs to max out crucial abilities make NonoHPmage a viable character.

Martial Arts - 70% reliant on dark blue attributes
Brawling - 60% reliant on dark blue attributes
All evades are 50% reliant on dark blue attributes



There is zero advantage to playing a nanomage MA.
There are too many disadvantages to playing a nanomage MA.

Mind you, over 150, the disadvantages blur, somewhat. The differences between the breeds is marginal at high levels.

i have better nanoskills=heal-nanos sooner.

i have soloed from 1 to 45 in 1 day 10 mins of playtime.
don't tell ME it is'nt doable!

Level 50 Sol MA =1026 hp (level 100 =1476 hp)
Level 50 Nano MA = 754 hp (level 100 =1154 hp)
Level 50 opifex MA = 981 hp (level 100 =1381 hp)
level 50 Trox MA =1044 hp (level 100 =1494 hp)

and over level 100 there is nothing to do in this game anyway, other than BS :D

With implants nano get 3-700 hp extra between 50 and 100.

1. levling to 100 - a little bit harder than other Ma's
2. Time to get max equipment to do good - 10% more than other Ma's.
3. the fame for proving that Miir was wrong- PRICELESS!!!! :D

How often do you run out of nano during fights?
MA heals don't take an inordinate amount of nano.
I have never heard opi, atrox or solitus MAs complain that they wish they had more nanopool...

At your level, you might be using nanos 1-2 levels sooner than an opifex, solitus or Atrox MA who maxes the same skills. Sub 100 that means you can use them about 2 hours sooner.

+ Implants, baby, implants.

Every profession and breed should be using 3 Max HP implants.
Implants don't give nanomages more HP than any other breed.

I rolled a Solitus MA a few months back and solod to level 40 in about 18 hours... zero twinking. MAs are the easiest profession to level at low levels. A guildie leveled an Atrox MA to 75 in a weekend.

Theres lots of outdoor hunting available now.
If you choose only to do missions in BS, that is your choice

If you enjoy having less HP....
If you enjoy spending more IPs to optimze necessary MA skills...
If you enjoy being less effective....

By all means, play your nanomage MA.


The only real advantage of a nanomage is the ability to use nanos 1-3 levels sooner than another breed.

The tradeoff is roughly 30% less HP and higher IP cost for primary MA skills.

Was a bit skeptical about the atrox mp myself at first. I had originally played as a nanomage mp. I had soooo much nano but nothing to use it on. I only had a couple of nukes which I did not use that much. Mostly the nano was for the pet. Atrox Mp sounds like fun. Strap a beam on that guy or something with heal pet and attack pet, ouch. Seems pretty good. :D
