I've just noticed that antiguardians is now listing the type of init used on each weapon (ranged, physical, melee). After a recent discovery that several weapons had the wrong init listed with them, I suggest going to antiguardians and checking out your weapons of choice to see if they are working right.
Once again antiguardians provides us with the information we need when Funcom refuses.
