Feedback on overequipped items

After reading the OE article today, I must say that it looks very promising. Hopefully this will make the game balancing easier when the highly twinked characters no longer run around on Rubi-Ka.

What I am wondering is if it will be some kind of feedback on the items that are over the 25% limit. Like a greyed icon in the wear view, a window where you can see the info or something similar. If not it will be very tedious calculating what "state" your gear is in every time you distribute IP or in other ways increase skills.
