Newland Liaison
The vote for the position of Newland Liaison is now completed. The Council of Truth appointed Encyros to act as Council of Truth Liaison to the Newland City Council. As the position title says, Encyros will establish a liaison between the CoT and the NCC, and help improve the relations between both Councils, relations that have suffered in the past. Congratulations and commendations go to Encyros for offering to re-establish the position and volunteering to make this happen. The Council wishes the best of luck to Encyros in these new tasks.

Council Speaker
The term of Sir Tristram Solis as Council Speaker having expired, the Council wishes to thank him for his service to the Clans. The vote for the new Council Speaker is running and the result will be announced after the August meeting. The vote runs on both the Atlantean and the Rimor chambers. The choice of the Council speaker reflects the direction that the Council of Truth will focus on for the next 6 months. As such, we invite all Member Clans to cast their vote for the new Speaker. Shadow Compendium
The Council is concerned with the situation in Newland and the overruling of the Shadow Compendium. Discussions and strategies have been discussed related to this situation. While the Council cannot say more for the time being, the Council is certainly not condoning the domination of a criminal organisation over free citizens.

Membership
Most of the Member Clans have adjusted to the modifications brought to the Council of Truth. Some memberships in the Council are still lapsing, but we are confident that there will be renewals before the next Council, as did Whisper's Edge and Rising Phoenix. We wish to thank the Clans for their ongoing support and will be looking for more in the future.
