    For those who missed this weeks not-so-great news:

    I have to offer my most sincere apologies for todays update on behalf of myself and my team. Many of the features and fixes of this update are broken, inluding:

    1. Correct mechanics/difficulty/loot of the new 12 man instance.

    2. Obviously unintended ability to wear two HHAB type rings.

    3. Monster regen in combat.

    4. Etc etc etc.

    The state of 18.0.2 on the live servers now was never supposed to be there...Thos of you who are dissapointed in what you see have good reason to feel that way.

    In the interest of open honest communication what happened today has never happened before. Last weeks version of TestLive is now on the live servers. I have no explanation for this at present...and those most likely to be able to help us sort this out are away today for uninterruptable personal reasons.

    We will be fixing these issues as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Nobody is more upset that this content we have been working so hard to produce the last weeks has been delivered in this manner...these issues will be worked out as soon as humanly possible...and when we are completely certain any of these issues will not persist.


    What we are doing about it:

    1. Panicking.

    2. Regaining our composure and trying to systematically eliminate issues...one at a time.

    The Instance:
    The instance is meant to be on a four hour lock (when completed successfully). When the correct amount of loot (what is there is not remotely correct) is actually on the boss (and the boss is working correctly) we will see how it is going and work from there. This is not supposed to be farmed back to back for hours on end....and at 4 hours is available more than any other raid boss in the game.
    Very little in here is working as it should...I'm looking forward to seeing the functional instance in the next update.

    The Full IPR:
    The full IPR was never meant to be something you would stack up and save. If you had one before you still have one now. They were supposed to expire...we just never bothered to remove them thinking that was the easiest and friendliest approach. Now we have given out another free IPR. Keep in mind with profession balancing on the horizon there will be another one coming in the not too distant future.

    Two HHAB type rings at once! 1000100100010!:
    These will zone validate the "not both" requirement. Anyone with both on will find both rings 100% overequipped. Wearing one ring + zoning should restore your general mojo.

    Losing the ability to attack:
    We are watching this carefully and trying everything we can think of to reproduce this issue. Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated.

    I'll be updating the 18.0 Forums on these nifty screwups as more information becomes available.

    What about the removal of pen/inf protection when upgrading the hhab to the final version? Is this intended or will it be changed?

    ps: besides the mostly obvious uninteded 'features' and unfinished encounter balance I really like the 12ish Instance! great Job imo!

    If instance is meant to be 4hr lock... Can you make symbs and spirits yesdrop? Imagine the frustration if you need to farm them for multiple toons... And you cannot even relog to the toon needing loot because it is locked to the other instance...

    Nano resist (and runspeed for that matter) is not affected by OE rules. You will need to add a playshift req so the rings physically deequip on zoning...

    Im assuming FC can have OE effect anything they want if they choose to correct the issue that way. deequip while zoning works for paid points vehicles when entering the grid. So it seems the programs are there. Yalms I think still stay equipped are and unequipped visually when in buildings. The same program seems it would work if it is set to detect both rings and only remove one and not remove the HH@B every time there is an area change or grid entry. Or it could go bad and deequip all armor "hehe" at each area change. I can see it now. I enter the grid and a huge overflow bag opens up with all my armor in it woot.

    Swapping sides while wearing an item with a sided requirement will make the item go 0% , and you lose all stats from it , including what does not normally go OE. Whether it's the normal effect of 0% items effectiveness or something else , it is very doable to nullify all bonuses from an equipped item.

    Or Means & Co could simply not know the first thing about AO mechanics and are offering a fix that is not really a fix.

    yes i would like to see this issue addressed as well, unless its intended to try and get more people back to farming apf......

    Bleah, too late today.

    P.S. I'm pretty sure the issues you're getting with losing the ability to attack is due to the morph in the 12 man instance. Sometimes (esp. i fyou are in wolf form) you will get morphed but visually you won't see it. As such you can't attack or do anything. I wrestteld with this bug for a while before I realized I was actually morphed by the boss mob. Going over to the morph remover thingies fixes it.

    any thoughts?

    Hia Means, maybe this is just a rant with my disappointment but:

    How about some quest/missions/area that require different team members other then the normal doc, enf, crat? As a keeper I add great buffs and damage to the team yet only time I’m desirable is in panda. As for the new content I haven’t been able to get a team scents b4 DB, let alone Xan.

    Do the new 12 man. You'll see a keeper is very dearly desired No spoilers included.
