Thread: Max possible tradeskills

    Max possible tradeskills

    I found myself bored in a place where I had only web access, but no game access, so I started working on calculating the absolutely maximum possible for each tradeskill. The items are based on the tradeskill items thread. All the rest is my personal experience.

    Items I included include all symbs, imps, QL300 towers, ql250 Universal Advantages and any item I thought was remotely possible to equip. I didn't include items I thought were not even remotely possible, e.g. Mystery of Pisces.

    Please only comment in an informational way - things I did wrong or forgot. As this is a guide/sticky thread I will remove all other posts.

    The information below is for a 220 nanomage engi, but I also added maximum across breeds.

    "Grand Gotal" other than that it looks like you have everything. But won't using a ql250+ brain/eye symb give more ME since you also have intelligence in it?

    Edit: on second thought its probably about the same.

    You are right, a ql300 symb does better. I'm not aware of a way a nanomage engi can equip a ql300 brain symb (I know how to equip a 300 eye), but on the other hand, I also don't know how to find ql300 tradeskill ring. So just for the sake of the "best setup" I will use ql300 symbs when it is possible.

    Added Mystery of Pisces to the setup, as it gives some agility. I seriously doubt 1500 dimach is possible as engi, but who knows.

    Muha, did you count engi dildo and various items to the base skill? Full arith?


    You know, I have about 95% buffing stuff available and couldn't get past 2750. Let's say 2800. What you list is 400 more.

    Damn, I still bet I am one of the few (max 5) engis on rk1 to have a LOT of tradeskills

    Yes but if we're just talking ME it evens out since neutrals can't use the chosen/faithful helper. (which adds 60ME). Unless you equip it and then pick a side ;p

    That's a good point. Indeed when I do the setups for abilities for which the tier armor gives less than Profiteer's Helper, I will mention it.

    I have a sneaking su****ion that Muha is beta testing LE while doing perk resets, and that the devs are asking him what kind of tradeskill requirements would be appropriate for LE crafting.

    Conspiracy theories ftw. I guess the real test is to see if this post stays or not.

    just a little remark the POM in you use in your setup for WS is at ql 1. It will do 5 @ ql 300. Why dont you use a First Creation of the Sagittarius which is 10 points of intel?

    Also why are you using the Control Unit Chest Plate which doenst add WS. I recommend Dirty Bioplast Overall

    Also for one of my fingers i would use Custom-Made Engineer Ring of Tinkering(dont know if this one is ingame though)

    I've heard that the custom-made rings are given out by GMs at events. So they are ingame, but very rare. And you probably have to role-play a lot to get one. The rumor I'm basing this on is at

    Regarding the First Creation - you are right, I forgot it exists. I also just noticed I used ql1 PoM, which makes the difference even bigger.
    You are also right about the Chest Plate.
    As for the Custom ring, I don't consider items that are GM spawned "in game". If I did, a GM can also spawn you a stat buffer or buff you ToM.
    Anyway, thanks for the input, and I updated the EE and WS setups.
