    Status window

    I assume everybody knows what the chat/status window is?
    That bloody annoying, transparent thing at the bottom left of the screen, sometimes hidden.

    Howabout making it just a tad darker, that way you could actually see any messages you get in bright background areas. Like for example Foremans or some missions. (I've never gotten any messages where the bodyguards spawns, or I've simply missed them)
    I'm so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I say.

    Agreed...

    This is a small but realy irataing problem! ..I hate it.

    i would even get as far as saying that dividing the chat window in 2 would be nice .... also a slider for eachone so i can dim down or up the "DMG window" if i like or the chat if i like.

    I played a little DAoC a while ago, and they had a segmented chat box like this. Pretty cool, and about the only thing I liked about the game. Battle spam shouldn't interfere with chat spam. And the chat box definately needs to get darker, or at least have the option to be so.

    Yup. Both ideas are essential in my book. You need to be able to actually see the text under all external conditions, and you need to be able to separate noise from information, howsover defined by the player. Same problem with the selected Mob name; 50% of the time its unreadable. What kind of design is that?
