Question why can't I pick up what someone else has dropped?

I think they have that because they understand that their game has a ton of bugs that force PCs to drop objects that they want.

Probably the exact same reason that there's a fall damage cap: they understand the plethora of bugs with yalms and want to reduce the # of random death complaints.

I agree though that since there are NODROP items that we should be able to pick up anyone's junk off the ground.
