Report Classification: Murder

Alley of Omni-1 Entertainment District - 09:32:00, November 11th, 29476

Upon arrival, a crowd had gathered around the scene, and Omni-Pol Corporals were keeping the citizens calm and at bay. Subject A, the victim, has been dead for at least six hours. The victim dons what appears to be a black cloak of some sort with hood to match. The victim is 6'2", large build, and black hair. The cause of death is most likely due to being shot at extremely close range with either an assault rifle or machine gun: perhaps a burst or full auto attack. Close by, small wood chips were found, possibly from a nearby crate. The victim was greatly ripped apart by the attack. Radiation was detected in the area, and appears to have originated from the contents of previously mentioned crate.

The victim's insurance records are being looked into, apparently, but he seemed to have been a typical off-world smuggler. The corpse will be removed as soon as possible, and further investigation is being made to turn up the killer quickly. Contents of aforementioned crate can be considered hazardous to the population if analysis is correct.
