I still think the nerf is crap, but since FC will nerf anyway..I like the idea some had earlier. Make them fit in a different hud so llts and VE stack. Both scopes will be about equal, but its still possible to get a huge crit bonus. Imho its the only way to keep them valuable.
Just ran through the thread for moderation and catching up on the reading. Thanks to everybody for keeping it (mostly) calm and on-topic. I appreciate that a lot.
First thing I'll bring up with the designers now is of course the reason for the nerf, and try get you a full answer on that. I'll bring them your arguments and see whether this is set in stone, or can be canned, or at least substituted for other changes (which I will of course bring to you again).
Please wait for me to get some more substantial information, and then we can continue the discussion in a new thread. Threads of 24 pages never give a good discussion.
