Lets use Tir as an example. In Tir u enter and leave the Grid in the same area. The reason why Tir Grid is a lag-fest is because nomather where the grid is, people will allways meet at that place. Gridding to Tir for me is a nightmare because I know there will be XX amount of people there, and zoning into tir useally takes a while.
But if we could have the grid exit in another part of the city (and this goes for more places than Tir) it couldnt be anything but an improvement I think.
Why cram all people in the same place and then put the grid exit in that very spot? Come on FC, doing this would even let us use parts of the cities where we normally wont bother to go.
