He is killing ppl instantly one by one. There is NO CHANCE to do anything....FunCom pls do anything - It looks like assist still works for them....

@OP - Agreed. FC, we implore you in this, the xth thread / subscriber complaint, to remove what you've allowed to kill your game.

If you do any type of scrum/agile development, I wonder if a petition with a certain percentage of players having signed it, would have you turn your efforts away from content design and implementation for the next few sprints to focus solely on handling this problem that has caused the cancellation of so many players. Remember when clan had a bot and organized efforts at PvP?

I do like Devil Inside's approach to it though - "God works too slow, so exploit but don't get caught."

There's people who take advantage of input broadcasting on both sides, but the majority does not use any assist function. Believe it or not.

theres also the function called auto target hostile player.. It seems people rather complain and cry hacks these days rather than use their brains.. a team of 6 should easily be able disable a mb'er..

In the case of someone using auto-target hostile player, any given player would only be able to have one hostile.

Do you think the OP targeted Exoblast, hit Q, found noodlebox, hit shift q, found blastex, hit shift q, etc. in the space of say 0.3 seconds, and then the MB just magically was able to auto target the hostile?

That's not only stretching the bounds of possible, but also stretching my patience.

Theres is this option that if a player is attacked, he or she targets their attacker (auto target hostile player), so if someone does an aoe on a MB they would all target that player. I am just sick of this spam where people keep remaking threads about the same and don't even consider alternative ways events can occur and simply cry hack.. I am sorry for you if you can't grasp the logic of all functions in game. I am simply providing a diffrent point of view on how some events might have occured instead of shouting hack ..

And if you wondered.. I am against MB in PVP, but having people make sutch a spam on forums instead of contributing to an already excisting thread I mind aswell.

While this is possible, it accounts for perhaps 0.1% of all PVP encounters with a box. Care to explain how the remaining 99.9% of encounters are insta-targetting or focus firing?

This is a rhetorical question. I know how it's done, and I do it myself. And I explained how to do it without use of tab, assist, hacking the mainframe, or any other stupid hare-brained scheme the local peanut gallery has thought up.

If I worked for FC and there was this casual knowledge of "oh these guys, by name, are known for multiboxing and potentially using exploits" I'd quit beating around the bush of "well I fixed assist, hopefully that'll deter those pesky cheaters!" and just start permabanning. An example needs to be made of the people who are well known for it, like what happened in the case of Midnight Reveries. Think people did the same thing MR did after they got banned? Not a chance.

As for "oh, but how would you tell if it's exploiting and not just clever use of game mechanics?", I'd classify multiboxing in PvP an exploit, full-stop. If you want to multilog and tab over to different clients, fine. Sending one keystroke to multiple clients in PvP, banned for life.
