Solving the camping problem the kupo way

All you do is lower the spawn time to say 15 minutes and make it so if you just killed this creature the next time it spawns, you cannot do dmg on it, instead you see this message..

You have not waited long enough to be able to attack this creature again,

and make it so you have to wait 18 hours to attack it again.

That will solve all of this mess.

18 hours? Why not make it like AC and have up to 4 month timers?

In AC even the "longest" spawns were only 15 minutes or so. You were not able to pick up that item again for months upon months. So what did this cause? It made groups work together because everyone is going to get their item in under an hour of camping total. But there was no ebay selling of most items because they were nodrop, or could only be activated by the person that picked them up.

For you AC players, imagine if the Ingot maker (been way too long, the lady on top of that tower that had the plasma golem with her that made Peerless etc weapons) despawned like Alvin every time you made a weapon and the spawn was 4 hours. That puts into perspective how silly the whole camping thing is.

    Good idea !!

Make the spawn rate higher on special mobs and have a timer on individuals that attack and loot it, with <UNIQUE> <NODROP> modifiers on the items so everyone than has a chance of getting it.

The Alvin/Dodga is similar to this setup, except when you have to kill the mobs, they are heavily camped by uber players.

Or imagine this... The one Tarasque loot item that I (and most likely everyone) really wants is the hood...

So here is how it works in the new system.. You get a group of 6 people together that have never attempted the quest to get a hood. You then go to an NPC while grouped and you get a team mission, if anyone has got a hood in the last four months the team does not get the mission. The keys are also un-dupable using a key duper, so the six people that start out are the only six people that will be attempting the mission.

So then you get a key and you go into your own copy of the dungeon, lets say it is a toned down version of Camelot if it must be. And then the team gets 12 hours to attempt to complete the dungeon... Make the dungeon such a massive maze that unless you have a map or are very cunning you will never be able to make your way though it. Then if you do not have an engineer and someone dies, you guys will be without that person to help.

If your team is unsuccessfull in beating the mission your acct is tagged for 48 hours or maybe a week at most before you can try again.

Anything that can turn the focus of teams from against each other to actual teamwork would be a great step in making the game more fun.

They're not gonna do it. Why ? They want the loot to be rare.

A better idea is lower the drop rate to... maybe once every 4-18 hours per rare item... Then at least we don't find an empty room at the end of the dungeons.
