Yeah Sil flat out hates engineers, pretty much why. There the damage templets were off apparently, the 2 lowers were at "old" level the 1 upper was at current, our ar boost would drop it in to the current, so they went with the oddball damage templet instead of the normal ones.

Over half of those were in game since before either of us were in game, and long before Sil was GM. 1 is a Direct copy of an origional RK nano with "must not be in shadowlands" removed and the skill requirement over doubled, and a Typo that lets us cast it with the old one. 1 is so little of an improvement over the old one that the only reason people use it is because it last longer then 37s. And the last one is our most pointless buff...

yes its pretty much content that we had taken away from us 3 patches ago with a bit of a hp boost and a new white mesh.

Why we couldnt have just had a hp boost on our old 219 pet instead of a nerfing is giving me bad logic induced headaches.

Can anyone remember what justification was given for the nerfing of our old dog?
Just intrested to know why it was nerfed and then what massive change in game caused them to rethink the nerfing and then serve a fix up under the banner of "new content"

Read what I said about it, and sil at the time said about it. "The lower templets were the higher ones." He chose to go with the "higher" templets that gave less damage when it could have gone the other way.

Wording is kinda bad here's numbers.

1 2 3 4 5

1 2 and 3 are higher damage templets.
4 and 5 are lower damage templets (the actual bug)
Sil chose to make 1 2 3 match 4 5 so the dogs damage is now lower for same amout of AR.

You know, if pet pathing worked engineers would be pretty good. You got one of the top tool sets defensively imo, and if your pets could reach your target you'd also be rather good defensively too.

Ill assume 2nd ded was meant to be off, problem is our pets took a major damage hit with LE. Adverage hit is 1k, and with all the crit resist in game they don't get the high crits that made them deadly before.

I really wish some people would at least make an effort to get minimal clue before posting. The whole nonsense about our supposedly great defensive power is becoming boring to read - Engineer defense is exactly the same as it was 4 years ago at release of Shadowlands. Any "upgrades" it received after that is only thanks to non proffesion specific item that anyone can access and use. Other than that , its just the same as it was, we have, for example, no improved life channeleres, no new team heals, no new hots, and no % heal modifier on every single new item that makes it to every patch.

Its just about the only defense that remains completely untouched by this dev team since Silirion took over, MA were the other one but the seem to be getting new heal now (about bloody damn time, too).

Pet pathing wasnt working , isnt working, and it wont be never working on an acceptable level , its not a factor that anyone is willing or interested in disscussing - most of us have accepted that and moved over to other areas that need immidiate attention.

Idk klod, our blockers are about due for an upgrade. Examp, a fixer can go through our blockers, Fling, burst, As, 6s Fling, 2s burst, 3s AS, 1s fling. (Blockers gone) total attack time = 12s. After that FA, AS, Burst, Fling, Possibly AS again and I'm dead. Coon is only 30s every 2 min, so a fixer that knows what they are doing can kill an engineer in under a 1 min 30s. Granted not all professions can eat though our blockers, but those that can tend to have normal hits that can kill us anyways.

I know, but it didn't change that much (the major nerfs - coon nerf affected you the least, reflect nerf as well).

Yes, we don't get a 10k AS or FA as much as enfs do but it does happen if our blockers get chewed up. By no means do I want us to be gods of defence, but you can not say our defence was not weakened with LE.
