There is. Just make a macro. Here's how:Originally posted by HurfBurf
It would be nice if you could choose your chat channel with a hotkey. Also, your sig is way too long.
Let's say you have OT Seeking Team (1-50) and OT Seeking Team (51-100) just for example's sake.
To make a hotkey that selects the 51-100 channel you'd need to type this:
"/macro name /ch OT Seeking Team (5" (without quotes)
You only need to supply the client enough of the name to separate it from other names adequately.
If you had channels Vicinity and Vicizoo, you'd have to type:
"/macro name /ch Vicin" to get Vicinity and "/ch Viciz" to get Vicizoo.
Got it?

I would like it to be divided into 4 sections (at the very least).
1) ONline people accepted into your friends list
2) OFFline people accpeted into your friends list
3) ONline people NOT accepted into your friends list
4) OFFline people NOT accepted into your friends list
Each alphabetized, of course.
This way, instead of having to scroll through 700 names in alphabetical order to find the ~40 or so that are on, you can have them all grouped together. If they're not in the "online" sections, they're not online. No more squinting at hundreds of names. It would be similar to ICQ or AIM friends lists
P.S. I would LOVE to have a "Guild" section too, perhaps an ONline and an OFFline guild section, regardless of if you've added them to your friends list or not. Sometimes a guild gets new members and you have to add them into your guild one by one. It would be nice if the game would actually keep track of that one for you.

And please give us a way that we can keep others from knowing we are online. Sometimes there are people who are not quite annoying enough to ignore but who you just do not want to talk to that minute.
