Teaming is it a gank?

Ok I am asking this question becuase I have not practiced it but I did see it going on in MMD last night.
The situation: A team of 3 (one enf and two NT's) were in mmd teamed up. What they would do is send out the enf and someone would attack him, then the NT's would pop around the corner and start nuking the hell out the guy who attacked the enf so needless to say that guy who attacked got killed.
It this a gank or a strategy? I mean it is MMD and you see 2v2, 1v1, 8v1 ect ect. I am kinda torn about it, I mean there is a risk you take when you go in to the 25% zones that there could be 1 or more omni or clan there.
Please post your honest opinions here about this.

Well, if you go in to a PvP zones with the attitude "I will probably be killed by another player", you should be fine. If you go in to a PvP zone with any other attitude, you will most likely be disappointed. If you get jumped by two or three players, just think of it as, "Well, sh*t happens." There's really nothing you could have done about it, so why even worry about it? Just go grab a beer and watch some TV or surf some porn sites for 5 min until your res effect wears off.

LOL, good point I just wanted to get some feed back to see if this was a strategy or ganking.

ganking itself is a strategy.

i team pvp and its more fun then solo pvp , way more fun.
