Where are the 40-50's lvl clan group forming areas?

I started playing AO about 2 days after it went live. Back in the day the temple was the place to go for hunting in the 40-60 range. I quit the game for 6 months while funcom got the game straightened out. Now the NW outpost is dead the new bot mountain OP is dead too and the temple spawns very few mob's (which i could solo). Does anyone know where people in this level range look for groups and hunt? Yes i know about the looking for team chat channel. But i have not seen a single message come across it since i've been back.
