Have you already seen someone blow on a grenade? It ain't pretty, there are guts all over the place.
Right now in AO grenades do 10 times less damage than shotguns without any area effect.

Change it. I wouldn't mind the 1 ammo clip on launchers if they did AE dmg for 10 times a shotgun crit.
