    A silhouete in the night

The wind blev in his face as he sat, crouched on the rooftops of Omni-Ent. He glared down at the streets below. At the masses of people. All going about their lives in the night, some with more sinister motives than others. But equal for all, was the fact that no one noticed him.

The air brushed across his face and through his hair as he leveled the night vision binocullars to his eyes. The targeting matrix of the binocullars soon found their target. As the matrix zoomed in, the fair face of a small asian looking female appeared. She was hurrying through the night, her robotic companion with her as always.

Tarrens eyes drew narrower and a grim smile appeared on his face. As she turned her head his way, he stood up. A black silhouete upon the full moon behind him. A gust of wind could be heard through the noise of the city as Tarren said in a low voice, as if to himself.

I am watching you, Yin... Ever watching...

With this, he walked away from the edge of the rooftops, and into the darkness that is the nights of Omni-Ent.

Several weeks had passed since the shadow shrouded figure had last set foot in Rompa's. Tarren walked slowly through the entry hall, looking straight ahead, ignoring peoples gazes and comments. The family was not pressent, but little did it matter. No one would cause trouble, there would be nothing to gain from it as he seldom mingled with public relations anyway.

It was not like him to walk about in day time, no shadows to seek refuge in, in the cold metallic glare of the lamps outside. Not that the sun had shone it's rays on the streets of Omni-Ent for many decades, the skyline prvented that. But people were simply less aware during the night, and people were less likely to focus on other peoples businesses, rather than their own so they could get off of the harsh, cold streets.

It had been a little under a week since he had still seen miss Koresawa, and he didn't like not knowing where his "target's of interest" were.

    "It matters not..."

He muttered to himself as he sat down in a cornor, view a clear view of the establishment.

"She will turn up. Soon enough..."

A smug smile crossed Tarrens face as he drank his club beer.
Outside the wind roared down the dark, littered streets of Omni-Ent.
