'Twas the night before Notum Wars,

'Twas the night before Notum Wars, when all through the game
Not a feature was different, it all seemed the same;
The guildies were teamed by the grid terms with care,
In hopes that great towers soon would be there;

The newbies were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of notum chips danced in their heads;
And my wife in her biomech, and I hoping for green ping,
Had just settled down for a long night of camping,

When out on Lush Fields there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from Omni-Trade to see what was the matter.
I got my X-3, from out of my bank,
Jumped into my Yalm and put on my tank.

The moon on the mist of the new-fallen rain
Too bright for my night vision goggles, the pain!
When to my wondering eyes what appears,
But a notum mine tower, and eight clanners with spears,

How foolish they were, to think they could build,
All I needed to do, was call to my guild,
More rapid than fixers my teammates they came
I tuned my communicator and called them by name;

“Now Dyna! Now Jardus! Now Magbyte and Dreben!
On Kwautrawn! On Hyach! On Athawn and Bayken!
To Harry’s, north of the mine! Rally at the gate in the wall!
Now blast away! Blast away! Blast away all!”

As dry leaves that before a hurricane fly,
We let loose our ammo, it lit up the sky,
So up to the tower the Omni they flew,
With a pack of grenades, and a shield disabler, too.

We swarmed the tower, even jumped on it’s roof
The tower was damaged, it went down with a poof.
As I brought down my rifle and was turning around,
Down came a flurry of notum dust with a bound.

We sprang to our yalms, to my guild I gave a shout,
Rejoicing and commenting on the successful bout,
I sent a tell to the Sentinals, ere I flew out of sight,
“THIS NOTUM IS OURS, IT IS OURS BY ALL RIGHTS!”
