Red Tape, a sub-department of Omni Admin held a press conference today stateing their intent to buy out Magi-Tek.
Red Tape's department president Charles 'Kithrak' Houston made this statement. "After weeks of careful negotiations, the shareholders of Magi-Tek aggreed to allowing Red Tape to buy a majority share in their company. We will continue to build on Magi-Tek's reputation as one of Rubi-Ka's premire research firms for biogenetic and medical nanobots. We have submitted the paperwork and await comfirmation at 09:00 tomorrow."
Magi-Tek's assets have already been liquidated and the department dissolved in anticipation for the merger tomorrow. Both departments have no comment about rumors that Magi-Tek may be working on a blackops project contracted by an unamed source.
Magi-Tek were one of many new research firms that have sprung during the increased tensions between Omni-Tek and clans. Their first completed project was a contract by Red Tape and involved designing a new nanobot type to create and maintain the new Omni-Admin Ceremonial armor. It was previously thought impossible for nanobots to create and maintain a shinny surface on armor. The ceremonial armor provides excellent all around protection and manages to retain a brilliant golden shine similar to the XL Gold Flash paint for Yalmahas. The Omni-Admin Ceremonial armor is awaiting approval of its patent before production can begin.
