but almost always more than half are lying especially if its got anything to do with sex and games which men as a rule are more interested in thanks to evolution - women are built to be picky since they get stuck with the problem for 9 months and dont want to waste it on an ugly kid (ugly = bad genes in your primitive mind its been proven over and over)

if its about sex and online easily 9 out of 10 "women" are guarenteed men

if its online games dunno but more than half unless its aimed at women to start with

Ugh, this topic sickens me. Don't worry Lanky, it's not you.. rather the feedback.

I think you people have seriously over reacted to what was just an innocent inquiry.. Did you read his post? He asked for female feedback, not for flames galore. It's not like lanky was directly insulting you girls, or putting sexist remarks up. (Ex. "U grls Suck!! Go back 2 prostitution B!tch!!!11!)

To the replies that reversed the arguement: talking about how girls were actually better at games than guys.. well.

To all of the replies saying that lanky is an idiot: Think about what you're actually replying to before you try to make accusations. He doesn't deserve this kind of uproar, for what was a small and casual comment.

I'm actually pretty impressed with lanky's handling of this event. If he was such an "idiot" he'd flame back.. what does he actually do? Apologize hundreds of times for something that he isn't guilty of.

Seeing lanky apologizing, the ravenous FC forum people happily gourge upon him for no reason other than for what appears to be a cheap thrill.

I think someone else should be apologizing.. do you know who?

Maybe so Zane, he was relating his personal experience with female gamers (which is obviously limited). However when you post your opinions on these public forums, you should keep your grammer, language, and facts as simplistic and clear as possible. It is easy to misinterpet what Lanky posted as sexist and ignorant -- which may not be intended in the former case -- because the passage was vague. If it is possible to misunderstand something you say or do, someone will.

Saying that people have over reacted to the topic is probably true, but you can't find fault in that. Sexism, not only in regards to video games, is a "touchy" subject. Infering that females are inferior at anything to a male brings up all sorts of issues that have been debated countless times and no doubt in forums just like these at one time or another

. Therefore can you disregard the tendency for people to be hurt by uneducated statements? In modern society females have only recently won fair and equal treatment, and in some parts of the world, they still live in the shadows and often times fear of men.

So be a little more forgiving of the responses made in anger, because it was is a potentially very personal and emotional topic. Also with statments such as "chicks suck", does the person even deserve an intelligent, well thought out response?
