Soldier or Fixer?

Hey all

I'm rolling a new alt toon, and I'm thinking about a Soldier or a Fixer.

I was just wondreing who has more success in PvP? I know there's not a solid answer, but by rule of thumb - who is better?


My choice will depend greatly upon answers here, so please give multiple responds (with a bit of details if possible)

Fixer of course, you cant go wrong with fixer.

Nobody can touch you. You have better guns. Your nanoskills can go so high at the end of the game. In PvM your a god, you can solo a group of red mobs while going afk, just make sure you got auto attack on. In PvP you can zone whenever you want, but not just in pvp, even when your leveling in PW NE corner, it takes one second. You can go anywhere on rubika in a matter of second. You can blitz mission easily. You also have speed buff, this mean less downtime = r0xx0r.

Down side, everyone wanna nerf you and you have to spend alot of creds on GA.

depends what lvl u want to bring it up to. at lower leves 1-50 or so you can make almost any toon uber in pvp. trader wins in this category tho..

but fixers dont use grid armour at lower levels but still can be awesome with SMG's and stuff, soldeirs dont peak till later on in the game and cant compete as well until lvl 150 +

that doesnt mean you cant make a badass soldier pvp char tho.

Just be ready to doll out 800 million credits or so for GA1, 2, 3 and 4 if you want to be effective. And that's on the conservative side.

well depends if you want to be uber PvP at lvl 200 go soldier i have seen some kick arse soldiers the sad part of being a soldier is you have to get diffrent guns to own Diffrent profs for fixers you proberbly need a Augy Hellfury becuase more often then naught your burst will hit and put a dent in that tiny smurfs HPs

If you like PvP go with a soldier, in PvM fixer.

Pick fixer. Higher fun factor, way more versatile, better at pvp and pvm.
