Personally I think it's a bad idea, but then again, we can wire money to ppl in RL, why not be able to transfer money to other ppl without actually having to be there with them? or items, since this is a mostly electronic world (and I know for dam sure that little bank can't hold all the dam hammers I have floating around in there). It would create realism, however, it would also create a lot of "Twinks."

Im a semi-independent player, really isnt good for AO, but i get around quite well. Not only that i hate asking for favors/help in transfers from friends.
i have two accounts..so its not really a problem for me...but i wouldnt trust another player with a rare/expensive item unless i knew them personally...and all my real life friends run away if i even so much as start to mention the words 'funcom' or 'anarchy-online'.
