Unfortunatly it's a HUGE HUGE file. Even when I cut it down to two seperate files it's too big.. So what I'm going to do tonight is just cut up the parts involving Deacon and then upload those so it's not so big. (unless someone has any idea how I can compress the files)

I'll do it as soon as I can. Right now I'm holding playlist so I can't listen to it to edit it right now but will do so as soon as possible.

Try bumping it down to 8-bit mono 22kHz in CoolEdit or Goldwave or some other wav-editing software, that should drastically reduce the filesize.

Your best bet isntin converting to wav, but to *.wma

That wouud retain the quality while cutting down on the filesize greatly

Yeah it would reduce the quality but 8-bit 22kHz is pretty much standard if it's only a voice recording. For 25% of the normal filesize it's a good bargain Besides, GridStream only broadcasts at 22kHz, so making a full quality recording is kinda wasteful anyway.

Actually WMA can have the same quality of MP3 while being about a 1/3 or smaller the filesize.
