ok..so the other day me and my buds (guildies etc ) were in 2ho pvp...killed a bunch..actually had a pretty good war going but we were too many (clan) for the ammount of omni that showed up. we got bored..headed to EFP. raided the ace camp..killed a few more. no worries. had a great time...thats not the funny part

so we decide to go to BS city of home and hit up some missions. well we were waiting down by the water waitin for the rest of the team to get there when a GM shows up (belxxxxx something). asks to speak to ryokucha. we are all "she is AFK", gm says "no problem ill come back"

ryo just then gets back from being afk and starts speaking to the GM in private. first we were all defensive cuz we know some cheesy omni complained against us or her at 2ho.

sure enough..the GM says: "im going to kill her" and leaves

ryo tells us that someone complained about here at 2ho for exploiting the 15 sec rule by rooting the omni player before it was up and letting ryo attack.

well here is the funny part: Ryokucha is an adventurer. she dont have any roots. (and no..she doest have a boosted root grapht either)

moral of the story: quit whining and quit petitioning unless you KNOW for sure you are totally being exploited against. dont go in a battle field like 2ho and then die and whine about it. I get the 15 second rule exploited against me all the time. dont think i have ever petitioned about it

also..spoke to a GM.killing someone in a plane is NOT exploiting.

Killing someone in a plane is just pure cowardise not exploiting.
The ppl who like to root n shoot ppl trying to grid in their yalms are the real griefers! They suck and should be sent to hell where they can recieve adequate punishment for their crimes.

Dont even try and defend yalm rooting as i know some of ya will, you know its for loosers.
The only exeption to this rule is in regular warefare with yalm recon troops, they are fair game.

Fortunately, the advance scouts are usually kind enough to shout "I'm an advance scout for an enemy invasion, it's pefectly ok to root and kill me" so I know when I'm allowed to root someone in a plane and when I'm not. But don't come scouting in my area in your yalm without yelling that out or I'll /petition you, you exploiter!


And if you have a plane, and can't make it to the grid terminal in MMD in 15 seconds... uhm, just fly to Newland. It's not that far, and it's perfectly safe. If you're lazy enough to use MMD instead, don't be surprised when you're attacked.

Sometimes i really enjoy the pvp aspect of ao . However, i do get emotional when i goto 2h0 and exploit is shouted across the battlefield. There is 1 entity which should be held accountable (funcom)! They wrote the code not the players. If improper testing was done who's fault is that(Funcom). Don't goto a PZ or a mayham zone if your not perpared to die!! I mean really!! There is more BS in pvp then anything else well, besides winers!!
It's simple, if im in a mayham or pz and you feel frisky .. Bring it on !! Cause if i "tab" and hit "Q" and it says i can attack. I WILL!!

In closing...
I know getting killed in pvp can really make you emotional , i have been there. This is only a game don't take it personal. Some people get so wrapped up in the roll playing aspect ..they seem to forget that. I like the rush from getting jumped .. even if its a losing battle. PVP is what you make it..

2h0 is simply nothing but a gang feast!
MMD is simply.. where you pick and chose your battle..

Having a plane does NOT make you Pvp-immune. Just because you got a plane does not make Pvp areas "safe", just "safer". Whether you are in a plane, or just walking around, you are still my enemy. If I have the chance, I will kill you regardless. (of course, being an NT, chances are good you'll kill me anyway, but that's beside the point :P). I don't pvp much (actually, I never go out looking for PvP anymore), but when I enter a PvP area, I always go there expecting to kill or be killed.

Regular Warfare? Regular warfare = I am in a pvp zone. I see someone I can attack. I attack them. That is regular warfare.

Some people will never get it. Some people think I will never get it. I figure we're probably both right, but you guys who just don't get it are playing the wrong game. Go play a game were everyone is on the same side if you're anti-pvp. This is a game about a war..... oh, forget it... I'm wasting my breath.

Dont get me wrong here im not against pvp, infact i like pvp alot i even made myself a title once with my MA in pure arena fighting.
Now days i mostly participate in guild-pvp events and raids against 2h0 etc where i have ppl with me who can actually do dmg.
Heck lets make all if rubika 0 or 25% that would be quite funny.

Anyway regarding the damn planes i might be wrong, heck its war right? >Vandame takes his boosted graft out of the bank<. To bad the damn thing locks matter creation for 30 minutes, well i can allways use it on a plane ,dimache, brawl, shen then zone and smacktalk for 30 minutes till everything is recharged.

This is why I attack every grey NT in a PvP zone. I'm lvl 139 now, and yes I hate NTs in PvP zones. But NTs aren't that dangerous anymore anyways. Basically never go to PvP in a Yal.

What I do when I feel like killing an NT (or if I'm waiting for my group to get ready for another boring BS mission). Get essence from Enforcer, get HP buff from Doc, get HE from NT, get run buff from Fixer. Go to Meetmedere and find a grey or green NT standing around. Run up to him and hit him with brawl and Shen. Let him root me and nuke me. I heal myself until he runs out of nano and starts running. I break my root, chase him down, and beat the living crap out of him.

And I will continue to do this until I'm lvl 190. Then I'm gonna grab a shottie, UVC, and 15% Low Light Scope and crit the bastards while I'm rooted.

Funny thing is, honestly, I really wish everyone played like you and wanted to give the other side a good "smackdown".

The real question is, if I "jumped" you, are you the type who gets all pissy about it, starts /petitioning 'cause I didn't ask to "duel", and whines for hours? Those are the real "lowlifes".

I used to get smacked down all the time before these idiotic pvp-changes. I just took it in stride and learned. Now I really have no fear of PvP at all.

Look at all the NTs that whine because they can't just sit on top of building and nuke everyone to death. NTs are a bunch of whiney p***ies anyhow. I'm glad they got nerfed. I hope they get nerfed again. I hope they get nerfed to hell. I hate NTs. It's a personal grudge. I never attack any other profession, and I don't stand around camping for low levels in PvP zones. I go there when I get bored looking for NTs. And if an NT happens to be there, I kill him or her.

Funny thing is, in reality we are likely much the same. I've never actually jumped in and attacked someone already under attack... I've never whompa/grid/rez camped. I've never actually attacked anyone at less than full health... not becuase I wouldn't, just that I never have been presented that opportunity. I've never gotten mad because someone killed me, I've never petitioned because someone made me mad.
On the other hand, I have suprised people who were not expecting PvP on numerous occasions. Without whompa/grid/rez camping, that's about the only way NTs can win anyway. I never spent much time in MMD or 2h0, I got my title in Broken Shores, on foot (before I even had a yalm).

Most NTs are definitely too whiney... but that's because being an NT takes some thought, and most people don't like to have to think, they just want to be Uber. We have issues, just like every other class, but overall we're a lot better than we used to be (except in PvP, that is - the new rules really screwed us, but oh well- I'll adapt)

At least you prepare before going through a PvP zone (run buff). Most of the game seems to be populated these days by people who think that if they don't want to PvP, that we should just let them run through the pvp areas immune. These are the people that deeply annoy me.

Yeah it's amazing how many people just stand around in Meetmedere doing nothing. I asked this one clanner why he was just standing around. He said because OMNI outnumbered clans. Then I asked an OMNI guy there why he was just standing around. He said because the clanners there were too high level. They were both lvl 75+. So I tabbled a yellow enforcer with dual ryders and attacked. This is back when I was lvl 85ish, still no VS, no outside buffs; I died very quickly.

Still, I think the most annoying thing you can do to an NT in PvP is to start a fight, run far enough so he can't nuke you, but close enough so that he's still engaged in combat and can't use his Nano Recharger or grid out. Wait for him to zone in and out of a shop. Attack him and run away again. Yeah ok, I'm an a**hole. I tend to keep grudges. I'll still go to Clon**** once in a while for no other reason than to kill the two guards there.

God, there has to be something more to do for XP than BS missions.

Here's my last PvP experience... kind of a funny story about how stupid the 15 sec timers are...

Was in Belial the other day for a big war-event thing that didn't work out real well.

Made it into the clan-controlled outpost by flying in and zoning into a building unseen.
Waited a little bit to see if anyone else would make it... they didn't.
Got bored, so I decided to go out on a suicide run (there were probably 50 clanners outside this building, and I was all alone)

Found someone I could attack...
Dropped my long nuke (Feeble gravitational Anomaly)
Dropped my short nuke (Ol' Faithfull)
He was almost dead..... then someone healed him to full health

Saw about 50 people running at me... Knew I couldn't kill anyone, knew I was going to die (as I should have)
Then I thought... HEY! I'll just use this stupid-ass invulnerability after zoning timer.

Ran back into the building....
Went back outside... "You have 15 secs"
Jumped in my yalm
Left - "Later Suckers!"

That was sooooooo lame. I should have been dead. But, because of this timer, I left alive and unhurt, and laughing my ass off at how ridiculous this was. I would be so mad if I was the other guy.

Pvp is so screwd up these days, it's not even worth the time.

Personally, I've never lost to an MA, but... with the pvp changes, I could see it might happen.
