Well, most of it, anyway. I'd find out what it's like to "shop until you drop". I figure $100k would cover me for a good day's worth of mad shopping. And I do mean mad.

30% of people who win 1 million dollars go bankrupt within 10 years after that.

only stupid people could lose a million dollars in the markets, etc..

i would invest half of it in a conservative bond fund, a 1/4 in the S&P 500 and a quarter in the NASDAQ 100..

i'd probably have 5 million in 20 years =-)

what would i do with it? i'd start my fund for my run for the presidency in 2028

BUT. 3/4 of mutual funds historically are beaten by the S&P 500..

i'd go with index funds, especially the NASDAQ 100 and any fund that mirrors the Russel (small caps)
