office jokes

Just to start an entirely new thread to be ignored here (its what keeps me going on these long work days).

Just wondering if there is any other offices out there that "enjoy" good practical jokes? My own office can be quite an interesting place to work in sometimes, because of them, so I thought I would start a thread where ideas and stories could be shared, so us AO players would gain an advantage

A few that have been done in my office.

* Reverse the position of everthing on someones desk, while they are in a meeting.

* Fill up the drawers of a desk with foam packing.

* sellotape a workers cigerate packets to the roof (he was looking for them for 10 minutes before he saw them )

*setting all our office phones to forward to a different one (we where trying to annoy a different department .

anyone have any more good ones? or funny stories.

please, nothing violent.

*Tape the botton of someone's mouse so the ball doesnt roll.

*Take a screenshot of someone's desktop then set it as a background...dont forget to move the start menu!

*When someone is away from their desk, send an email from their computer to the entire floor saying "Hey guys, whats up?"

And one that is only valid where I work...

*Leave a voicemail for someone saying you want to buy 10 desktops and then give them a random phone number to call.

I don't work at an office, but at school or home I'll reverse everything in someone's work area left to right.

I read a story once about a group of coworkers who taped up a guy's cubicle with plastic sheeting while he was on vacation, covered all the stuff to keep it from getting messed up, then filled it with packing peanuts.

I have some other ones I've done before, but of course I can't remember them right now...

I've done the packing peanuts one, and with crumpled up paper balls. Its a mess to clean up.

Re-routing the printers que seems to be fav, spend 15mins standing by the printer then getting a call asking why you are printing your reports 3 floors down.


There is a cocconut (Fred) that gets fed-ex'd around the office.


When we'd play games, at night which ever team was working the 24 shift would usualy go and change the day teams configs so that every key would kill you.


There is always goatse.....nuff said


Every so often there will be a nerf/koosh ambush


Greasing the door out so it always swings shut. Caused a bunch of problems with people going out to smoke and not taking their keycards

We thought it would be funny to spray compressed air (from the cans) into a guy's bottle of Mountain Dew ...

Never ever ever never never EVER NEVER try this ....

I've never seen mountain dew explode like that ... still can't get the stains out ...
