    Please clear this up for me. Higher lvls can attack all lvls when defending

    I was in a lvl 100 tower fight today where i was the attacker. I was in the mist of a fight with an org member my lvl from the defender side. There were a group of high lvl players 150+ standing arround healing the person i was in a fight with (which is a problem in itself) but then all of a sudden i was attacked by the higher lvls and down I went.

    I petitioned it thinking that it was a bug or exploit but the ark informed me that any lvl player can attack a lower lvl player if they are defending their towers. That means if a bunch of lvl 50 players are tring to take down a lvl 50 tower, a lvl 200 member from the defending guild can come in and just cream them all.

    Is this true? And if so...... what??????? That is completely unballenced in favor of the "uber" guilds.

    Personnaly i think if this is the case then the system dosent allways work correctly because i know there have been times where i have been defending my tower and was unable to attack certain members of opposing guild because they were two low.


    I also would like like some clarification of what defines you as an attacker when you are in a tower fight. In this case I had not attacked the tower but someone in my org did. I can understand this making you an attacker. But I was in another fight were noone had attacked anything yet we had just stepped into the zone and one of my guildmates was attacked by a lvl 190 trader.

    As i see it now:

    -If you attack a tower you are considered an attacker.

    -If another member of your org attacks a tower you are considered an attacker.

    Those two i know and understand. But....

    If you attack a member of the org of the defenders are you considered an attacker?

    If you are attacked by a defender are you considered an attacker?

    Is there any other oddball stuff that considers you an attacker? Like if you are in a team that is attacking the tower or a reflect sheild or anything like that.

    I would really like to know so that i can run as fast as my legs will carry me if im about to creamed by 10 lvl 180 omni :P


    In any case if your under lvl 150 better make some high lvl friends to escort you if you ever plan to attack a bigger guild. <sigh>

    So noone has any information on this? Has anyone expirecenced being clobbered by high lvl defenders?

    I'm also curious about being in a "state of war" If a guild comes and attacks your tower then you later return to their tower but do not attack that tower are you automatically flagged an attacker because you are in a "state of war"?

    Any Information on this would really be lovely. ^^

    Hmm.. I know that if you attack a tower you are PvP Enabled. If a guildmate attacks a tower, I don't know if you get PvP Enabled because of that.

    If a high level and a low level are teamed, and you attack the low level who is in your range (eg lvl 180 teams with lvl 149, you are lvl 140 and attack the lvl 149) then the high level can attack you back. This is because you initiated combat on a teamed enemy.

    I may be wrong, someone else got comments?

    ...

    There are lots of things broken about the current NW setup.

    But if this is true, it's just another stupid messup.

    At the moment everything is stacked against the defender.

    This is not true. I had put up a ql150 tower for my guild. It was attacked by a 134 engie. He destroyed the who 150 base. Not one person in my guild who was on( most of us are level 200 ) was able to defend the base. None of us could attack.

    Damn. How many support towers did you have with your controller? How long did it take the infidel to take down the controller?

    This is why pvp limitations are bad... there should be no limitations when defending your base...

    Uh... no. This would exclude anyone not incredibly high level from participating in mass PvP. I could see it now, one very high level NT casts a nuke or three and takes out 50 people level 20-120 in the span of seconds. Believe it or not, the majority of players are not TL5-6.

    Limitations are fine. The current implementation of them is not.

    Hmm.....do you have any idea how utterly frustrating it is for a high-level player to NOT be able to defend their org's Tower? I've had a long, hard struggle to get where I am; I'm not in an uber Guild, and have almost none of the ubercampalot(hehe) items. Hell, I'm Neutral so I don't even have a Token board. I'm nowhere close to being a powerleveler, and it has taken me, what.........16 months or so to get my only character to where I am now. And yet I'm powerless when a 2-3 week old lvl60ish attacks my org's base. Not exactly my idea of balance, or fun. The balance should always favor the defenders, imho.......attacking a Tower is a serious matter, and you should be prepared to suffer the consequences if you do.

    So whats the point of haveing an conflict when you have to make up before hand who you can fight or not? I just want to make this boring conflict more interesting...

    she prolly teamed with another highlvl at her side and got creamed since she gets attackable by other highlvls as well when teaming with them. word.
