A new version of the BEST chat client, Anarchy Online Relay Chat (AORC) has been released by a Mocker who wishes to remain anonymous!

Sorry Azz, my methodology in development usually involves designing the interface for features before the features themselves. This helps me to visualize the requirements of said features. That said, many of the screens (including auto reconnect, scripting, text formats, away system) are only screens with no code behind them. The away system, along with auto reconnect, however, are at the top of my list for implementation. Stay tuned and thanks for using AORC!

It does, but there is a bug in the current version (1.0.0.20) where the built in information for the Test Dimension has the Atlantean host. To connect to the Test Dimension (for now), you can create a new Dimension, with the host set to "chat1.d1.funcom.com" and the port set to "7012". I will post an update soonish that fixes this problem.

- test server host fixed: built in host for Test Dimension was Atlantean host
- double-buffered friends and groups trees: to eliminate flicker
- fixed custom dimensions: new dimensions were not getting saved

Another new version is up, this time featuring an installer, AFK functionality and item refs!

Version 1.0.0.25

- away system fully implimented
- auto completion in combo boxes fixed
- double-buffered chat output: to eliminate flicker
- auto reconnect system fully implemented
- item refs display high ql item from Jayde's Anarchy Mainframe
- non functional screens removed: script editor, script options, text format options, help
- installer: AORC is now distributed as an MSI installation, allowing me to provide third party packages required by AORC. This installation includes MSXML 3.0, so this will make the installation size slightly larger (although far smaller than if I included MSXML 4.0) while providing MSXML for those who do not have it installed on their system.

Yeah, that thing blows...It freezes if I hit enter while it's updating my friends list. Can't they even do something like THIS right?

As of last night, he should now have a way to interpolate items based on Hi/Low ID to show their real (probably) stats now... Hehe...

This is posibly the best 3rd party util to come out yet... except maybe clicksaver...

As for proxies, no way its gonna work (are you certain your work uses a proxie, and not a firewalled NAT?). You will need to talk the admin into opening up port 7012 in either case, and there would need to be built in proxie support to the client more than likely.
