    Would be fun to put in my own sound files...

    The sound files are cool! Well, some of them =)

    Anyone toying with the idea on how to use user made sound files instead, like in Baldur's Gate, UT and such?

    I know the EULA says we're not supposed to modify the game code, but that's not what we would be doing, since these are single files the game is using much like the use rmade maps and such. And I'd loooove to have my crat use the voice of Mr. Burns...
    The Lion Banner sways and falls in the horror-haunted gloom;
    A scarlet Dragon rustles by, borne on winds of doom.
    In heaps the shining horsemen lie, where the thrusting lances break,
    And deep in the haunted mountains, the lost, black gods awake.
    dead hands grope in the shadows, the stars turn pale with fright,
    For this is the Dragon's Hour, the triumph of Fear and Night.

    From what I understand you could replace the wave with a wave of your own, but in order for anyone else ot hear it, you would have to send it to them...as well, they would hear the same thing when they use thier voice stuff...All it does is trigger a wave file on your hard drive, from what iwas told, and pront text from a specific text file. I know why that would be fun to do, but you'd lal have to agree on the same few voices
    AO is not just about pvp, or Rp or power lvling. It is about whatever the players choose to bring to it. Don't make it personal against one of these groups because you feel nerfed by the game company.
