I pre-ordered from Digital River - Where is my copy?
Digital River reported on Friday they dont have any copies yet and dont expect to get them until the 6th. They will ship from the following Monday
Why cant I download the booster?
Because it would annoy the retail partners and FC dont want to do that.
Why cant you turn the land control off until most of the players have the booster?
Because that would annoy the players who already have it.
Of course the huge 'hole' in this reasoning is why the booster went live at all if Digital River hadnt received their shipment. While FC have stated they dont want to annoy the retail partners and the players who did get the booster. They dont (for some reason) appear to weigh the frustration of the vast majority of players very highly against either of these 2 factors.
Since the Digital River orders wouldnt go through the retail chain anyway it wouldnt be damaging if FC arranged a download option for those people who pre-ordered through DR (and by rights should have had the product in time for launch, if not before anyone else) but hey what do I know
