I gave up on my pre-order with Digital River which was still backordered (out of stock) yesterday.
I tried a bunch of retail stores in north GA .. most of which had never heard of AO.
Yesterday I ordered online at EBGames. Today my order shipped to me Fed Ex.
EBgames online seems to have the CDs in stock and seems to have their act together.
I have a copy on backorder from digital river.
I was able to go into EB and put a $5 reservation on a copy that will be arriving monday (here in the isolated wastelands of Canada)
I am not preordering next time. I'll just go to EB.

PLEASE, give use a simple YES or no answer as to whether or not the CoH chests can be opened
Yeah, I pre-ordered through Babbages and Software Etc.. But, the pre-order isn't going to make it until Tuesday 12/3, at the earliest (through gamespot). However, the local EB dealer had a couple on their shelf, with no pre-order, but had them sold before I could figure out who in the hell had the game.
So, check your local www.ebworld.com stores, if you have any. The big retailers, at least the bigger ones in this city of 300k+ can't even get it on time with a pre-order. /sigh
