I wrote a program called PetNamer a while back to do exactly what you're asking for. It also will create a set of files to help MPs control their pets, but the program is perfectly usable by all pet classes.

Hmm, no, sorry I don't know why you'd recieve that error. Did you change something in your set-up?
It runs independently of AO, so a patch to AO or an installation of Notum Wars shouldn't affect it.
I'll play around with it and see if I can duplicate that error. Meanwhile, try downloading it again. It doesn't do anything to the registry and requires no "installation" ... so no uninstallation is needed. Just delete the directory and download it again.
