And what about the french users? i didn't get any info on this. anyone know? i just recived from DR "We're Sorry! The product(s) you've ordered is currently out of stock and could not be shipped"...my order is going to be cancelled... but i don't realy know what is the realise date in france...

From ebstore it cost 45 $ and no idea of shipping time.

The french magazine JOYSTICK has made an article thhis month about Notum War this month indicating "publishing" date : january 2003

I dont found the game in any french site, even preordered.

You have the choice : Pay it double price and get it rapidly (?) or wait and pay it a normal price.

I have downloaded the game (2 times) and regret not be able to do the same with the notum patch (!)

Cz a posté quelque part que ce serait pas dispo en france avant début janvier.

J'ai annulé ma commande chez digital river (pas fiable à priori, ne communiquent pas, etc), et j'ai commandé chez gamestop. J'ai déja commandé chez eux, et je sais donc qu'ils sont fiables. J'aurait NW mercredi ou jeudi au plus tard normalement.

Ok, y'a autant en frais de port (20$) que le prix du jeu lui-même, mais j'achète pas souvent de jeux alors je m'en fous.

Ca avait été la même merde avec earth & beyond en france, je suppose qu'il y a une raison à ça (je soupçonne la loi toubon obligeant à fournir une notice en anglais ou une quelconque règlementation casse couille pour commercialiser des logiciels en france)

De toute façon, au pire il sort le 6 en Europe, donc le commander de l'Allemagne ou du Royaume-Uni doit pas couter trop cher (Belgique aussi)...

you might want to check out "die neue welt" on the notum wars site.

you will find that nobody playing on the german server put up a tower yet.

maybe because nobody paid more then double the price for nw

2) what use have some level 1 chars with no twinking money for land control towers?

Our Release for NW is 4.12.2002 or 06.12.2002

Blame the French Government, they have to:-

• Check the packaging to see if it contains >50% French words
• Check the graphics to see that there is no Nazi propoganda
• Check for any beef content (in case you get your CDs via the UK)

And more than one of these is true

Ok, ben moi j'ai envoyé un mail à digital river, je leur ai posé un ultimatum en leur disant de se magner le cul, parce que ils m'ont qd meme foutu 12 euros de frais de port, alors que j'ai pas choisi l'option express avec UPS, et je trouve dégueu que pour 12 € de frais de port on ai pas un service de qualité...

Voilà le mail que je leur ai envoyé :

I pre ordered the Notum Wars from your site, and I'm really disapointed to see that you can't afford a good help to your custommers...

If at least you didn't charge me with 12€ of shipment sending, I would shut my mouth... But now I just have to blame you.. If I don't receive my Notum wars in a week, I will cancel my order, and invite my fernch friend to do the same...

It's a shame to charge 12€ of shipment sending for a simple game... I wouls say "ok" if it was a piano or something heavy... but damn... a CD...

So, if you send me the notum wars in 7 days, in other words, a week, I will be happy..
If you don't, I'll cancel my order, and will go buy it on your worse competitor's site...

And I want an answer to this mail before tomorrow evening, or else I'll cancel my order as well...
