Portable surgery clinic:another useless item?

Plz explain to me the usefulness of these portable clinics, especially the higher ql ones.

I tried to remove a ql162 implant with a ql 125 clinic and it worked, but when i tried to swap the implant back in it asked for the treatment skill level of the implant...

plz explain

The portable clinics don't add 100 to your treatment when you try to put in new implants like the big surgery clinics do. If you don't have sufficient treatment skill to put in the implant, you can't.

I use them because I can self buff my treatment to over 960 non-implanted Treatment. That way I can swap out QL200 implants in the middle of Perpetual Wastelands or anywhere else nowhere near a Surgery Clinic. It can be useful if you have the treatment to hotswap your implants.

While I believe a QL1 will allow you to swap implants as well as a QL200 one will, there are other things in the game they are used for
