new Engi shield should be self only

New Engi shield in pvp is way too powerful to not be self only.
Try to face a whole team of ppl using it, there is no way to do enough damage when the shield blocks all special attacks.
Its bad enough to only do 50 pts. of damage per hit but now no specials get through as well, gimme a break.I know FC wants pvp to last longer but this is retarded.Plz make this buff self-only, it makes pvp, wich is already gorped, that much worse.

They're currently not wanted in teams. Funcom wanted to give them team desirability, especially in the upcoming mass PvP experience Notum Wars will bring. This is fair.

As for a buff people get for duels, it's certainly unfair, stupid, and you should get it too if your opponent has it. But this game is not all about duels anymore. It's about staying alive and conquering teams of opponents, and this is Engi's way (finally!) to stay alive longer and help their teammates do the same.

k. nerf the engy shield but then

but then make following buffs self only:

He / Essense / Layers / RRFE / MoP / Doc HP buff / AC-buffs / Runspeed / NCU / Evades /mochams / wrangles

or in short.. make all buffs selfonly.

C'mon ppl give me a break. This shield is a sort of engy loving alot of ppl have asked for and its nice yes.. but its not uber. The team version is 3 specials. Which no engy can selfcast. A engy can max selfcast the 4 special nano self. Casting time is 40 seconds. Well uhm not a nano you really cast in a fight over and over again.

Fact is :
A engy isn't uber at pvp at all even with that shield. They get a chance to stay alive but thats it. Their pets still don't do any damage which is uselfull at all.

Of course i can see a fixer whine which uses a gun with a 1 min recharge on his only special..

ENGY's DO DESERVE THAT BUFF!! But they need still alot more of loving.

Yes engys need boosts from FC to 100%, but why not make it selfonly then? I don't see this as a boost when the engy fight someone in a duel and that person have that buff too, FC should have let them have that buff for themselfes.

Maybe because:
The special shield is useful in PvM as well as PvP ('borgs with 6K fullautos *shudder*).

This will give engies something that they can do to help their team in PvP.

It's another nail in the coffin of "Duel! Duel! Duel is all that matters!"

Complite heal should be self only too...

And doctors shouldnt heal others in pvp zone..

If i cant shoot myself then people shouldnt heal themselfs too.

If pvp damage halfed lets half heals.

Nukes should be self only.

Drains should only buff trader and leave target unafected...
